  Apollo Baltazar is a trans Filipino-American cartoonist and illustrator from Southern California currently residing in New York City. He has created several autobiographical comics, and has contributed to the likes of The Nib and The Washington Post. He is also a very talented chef, and makes loaves of sourdough that are happily eaten by Teo Suzuki, who he is also dating.

He is the head developer of the Epic Wayne Press site, and is responsible for basically everything you see on every page. Like, every time I think I've figured out how to run this site on my own I find myself in a discord call with him, begging for help. I think he's gonna save the world one day.

  Maddy Jones is a trans cartoonist and album cover artist from New York currently residing in North Carolina. Her main comic is a sprawling sci-fi epic called CHOSEN, which she's been slowly developing for years and it will soon be one of the great works of graphic storytelling. Vertigo should keep an eye out! Maddy Jones did not die on May 12th, 2023.

  Cyd Levine is a Jewish comix idol from Toronto. What that means is she is equal parts a cartoonist and a performing musician, with both professions tied to the same DIY sensibilities. Whether it is her debut single GOKIBURI or her ongoing comic Styxville, she balances the light and the dark with proficiency. But most importantly, Cyd is the co-founder of Epic Wayne Press, and she's using her 50% hold to make me do all these write-ups.

  Evan Menezes is a Portugese-American cartoonist and game designer from Massachusetts. Has has a long career of illustrative work for various internet projects, which has prepared him for his upcoming comics: Blue Sun and Super Kitty and Power Mouse. However, his best art comes from the stupid drawings he made for our D&D campaign which you will never ever see, sorry! Evan Menezes has a rainbow frame on his portrait because he is gay.

  Maggie Michel is a black illustrator and cartoonist who runs Robo Riso, a printing press based in Harlem. She provides a vital resource for self-publishing in the New York indie scene, while also putting out incredible comics at the same time. But most importantly, Maggie Michel is a South Park fanatic, with a rumored fanzine on the way that I could not be more excited about.

  Kaitlyn Quach is a non-binary neurodivergent Chinese-American cartoonist and climate activist from Queens. Their main comic project is Fatherboard 2064, which can be read on Webtoon here. But they also frequently make short comics about their life, often chronicling the experience of being plural. Kaitlyn Quach is infamously known for both inventing the phrase "yolo swag" and getting arrested at Google's headquarters.

  Harper Bryant Shin is a non-binary Korean-American cartoonist, illustrator, and writer from Oregon currently residing in Brooklyn, New York. They have made a wide range of great art across many mediums, and has had work featured in the likes of Transfix Magazine. The two biggest contributions they bring to Epic Wayne Press are being the lead editor of Epic Wayne Quarterly and letting me bum weed off them.

  Teo Suzuki is a Japanese-American cartoonist from in New Jersey currently residing in Washington Heights. His main project is a comic called CULTURAL RESET, which was nominated for a 2025 Minicomic Award. He is the co-founder of Epic Wayne Press, so he puts a lot of time into writing bios like this while thinking about movies he wishes he was watching and meals he wishes he was eating. Maybe some day everything will work itself out.
